Who we are

Everyday Plumbers Bristol is a local plumbing company based at Hamilton House on Stokes Croft, in St Pauls. We’ve been working on Bristol homes and businesses for ten years: houses, flats, shops, offices and rental properties all over the city.

The name says what we do. Most plumbing problems aren’t dramatic. They’re the everyday things: a dripping tap, a toilet that won’t stop running, a slow drain, a radiator that won’t heat, a leak under the sink. They still need sorting quickly, by someone who knows what they’re doing and tells you the price up front.

How we work

• Qualified plumbers. The people who come to your door know the trade.
• Quote first. Most jobs are quoted over the phone before we come out. No call-out fee, and no VAT because we aren’t VAT registered.
• Same day as standard. Most jobs are done the day you call. For emergencies, we aim to be with you within the hour.
• Seven days a week., weekends and bank holidays included, at the same rates.
• Straight answers. If a problem belongs to Wessex Water, Bristol Water or a Gas Safe engineer, we’ll tell you rather than charge you to find out.

What we do

Plumbing, drains, and the water side of central heating: emergencies, blocked drains, leaks, radiators and heating, taps and toilets, bathrooms, kitchens and commercial work. We don’t work on gas appliances.

Ten years of Bristol plumbing

Ten years of working across the city teaches you how Bristol’s homes are put together. Georgian houses in Clifton and Cotham have usually been split into flats, with pipework passing through other people’s homes. Victorian terraces in Bishopston, Easton and Bedminster share drains and have kitchens and bathrooms in back additions. Interwar homes in Horfield and Fishponds have often been extended several times. New builds in Filton bring their own teething problems. Knowing what to expect in each kind of house helps us find problems faster and quote more accurately.

Who we work for

Homeowners, tenants, landlords, letting agents and local businesses. A lot of our work is for landlords and agents with properties across the city, who need someone reliable to send to a tenant the same day, with a clear invoice afterwards and no VAT.
